For all those of you who’ve spent any time at a Las Vegas lately, you will have noticed the surge in marketing for sports gambling apps. While mobile gambling has long been a stature at the international sportsbooks (visit our top 5 list here, it has turned into a new and flourishing trend in the Sin City. This is a move that is far welcomed by the sport community as a whole and it opens up a slew of benefits for the conventional sports bettor.
Let us touch on the multitude of advantages that this brings about for the bettor.
Benefits to Sports Betting Apps
1. No waiting in line at sports counter: There might be nothing more frustrating then trying to run until the counter to place a bet before a game starts only to find the line ten people deep! This all but guarantees that you will not get your wager in on time. This is commonplace during football season and while other big sporting events are happening, such as March Madness. Together with the sports betting apps, one is literally a few clicks away from having their bet placed.
2. No more lost tickets: One just has to perform a quick Google search on”lost sportsbook tickets” to see the variety of topics that sport bettors have gotten with missing tickets. Whether the area maid threw your ticket out or you dropped it after an evening of drinking, this is an all-too-common occurrence. In the internet world, the money from the winning ticket is automatically deposited to your accounts, thus eliminating all missing tickets.
3. Bet from anywhere (from Nevada): While checking out the latest lines, you discovered that the odds dropped on your Washington Nationals from -170 to -130. This bet now makes sense to you. The problem is that your wife (husband, girlfriend, boyfriend( or whomever) convinced one to go tour the Hoover Dam this day and you are miles from the closest sportsbook. Well, now with the sport program revolution, you can place this bet throughout the excursion. Each of the applications use geolocation in your phone and this decides if you are in the state of Nevada. If you aren’t, then the applications will not work on your phone to their fullest capacity (i.e. you won’t have the ability to make stakes ).
4. Get best odds from selection of novels: Even though we buried this point at #4, it’s undoubtedly the most important of all the things we mention here. Every sportsbook carries slightly different odds. To observe the various lines that one can find online baseball, as an instance, see MLB chances at different Las Vegas sportsbooks. We recommend that one puts cash in at least three accounts to take advantage of the best pricing the various novels offer. This way, no matter where you are at in Nevada, one can shop around to find the best odds available.
5. Live gaming: Finally, we absolutely love the ability to live bet games! In most sports, activity moves far too quickly for live betting to ever be realistic in the standard sense of sports betting (return and read our first reason for enjoying the sports betting app revolution). But with the capability to wager at your fingertips, live gambling becomes possible.
Before we proceed, there are two quick notes. One, we have reviewed the CG Technology program and it does not even come close to creating the record. It is marred with crashes and an extremely poor design. Two, there have been rumors that Caesar’s will have an app ready by football season in 2017. If and when this occurs, then we’ll update this review.
We proceed to our listing of top sports gambling apps.
Top Nevada Sports Betting Apps
This list currently only contains the sports betting apps that we’ve reviewed.
#10 — B Connected Sports
The B Linked Sports app is not a bad program whatsoever and is backed by Boyd Gaming, which has a bunch of casinos that are off the strip. At this point, there simply isn’t anything to set this app aside from the top programs on this list.

#9 — Treasure Island Mobile Sports
The program (built by Miomni) is solid. The downside is that Treasure Island doesn’t have a huge offering of sport at their publication. To find this app, one must have a Treasure Island Player’s Club card (that is fairly standard). Yet another drawback is that gambling through the program does not get you some specials points or rewards together with all the Player’s Club. To put it differently, there’s really no fantastic reason to with this app over any of the better ones farther down this listing. On a certain side note, there’s no greater location than Treasure Island to play Blackjack on the strip!

#8 — CG Technology
An individual can make the argument that this is a good app to have so you have a variety in odds, but that is the sole reason we’d now recommend it. We found this app to be frustrating buggy and not particularly user friendly. But since our last review on this app there have been a lot of bug fixes that have made this app a lot more secure than previously. If CG Technology can keep this trajectory in tact they then can move up this record come football season.

#7 — PlayMGM
PlaymgmFor the time being, the PlayMGM application has a lot more negatives then positives. We will start with the drawbacks. To begin with, we absolutely can not stand the first home display of the app. In every other sports gaming program that we employed, one only has to type in their pin or password to log into the device.
PlayMGM home display PlayMGM Home Screen
With the PlayMGM program, you have to type your snare and then your date of arrival every single moment. Second, once inside the app, the home page interface is messy and elaborate (see picture to the right). We can not truly be certain what the program makers were thinking here. It seems like their effort was to create the biggest games simple to discover, but what you’re left with is a hodgepodge of games all over the monitor. This makes finding a game harder then if a simple interface has been used. Third, which is not really the fault of this program, the odds at MGM are the worst which you will find in Vegas. If anyone can get a sportsbook that requires a greater vig, then please send us a message and tell us. Last, the stakes that are created don’t tie in anyway to the MLife program.
On the positive side, the PlayMGM program does work really nicely. We’ve yet to encounter any crashes, major hiccups, or another sort of drawback concerning using the app. PlayMGM also one of a few sports gambling apps that features live betting! With live gambling, MGM pretty much knocks it out of the park with options on a great deal of games and a seamless procedure to receive those stakes in quickly.
Although this app certainly needs some work, we think that it is a pretty good start for PlayMGM.

#6 — Wynn
Wynn SportsThe program was built and is powered by Miomni Gaming that’s a company that has built a few of the sportsbook apps for Nevada casinos. Their apps are usually very well done and the job they did with the Wynn did not disappoint.
Wynn Sports App
As is a frequent theme you will see in this blog, there isn’t too much disparity between the apps which were made by Miomni Gaming. Their arrangement and appearance is quite consistent across the board and there are limited differences. With that said, the things that set the apps apart are generally in the way the sportsbooks operate themselves. The Wynn does not need much promoting as they are renowned as a wonderful property!
The signup in the property has been pretty regular. One needs to complete a lot of forms and a W-9 and then wait about ten minutes while a customer support agents inputs all of the info to a computer. The deposit is instantly deposited and the bettor is prepared to go.
The program interface is solid and consistent. Like MGM though, the Wynn is a little bit slow to receive their lines out for contests. Contrary to MGM, nevertheless, the Wynn has aggressive lines with a rather low vig along with a selection of sports which matches the top sportsbooks in Las Vegas.

#5 — NV Sports
NV Sports logoNV Sports is the program That’s backed by the legendary South Point Casino and the Rampart Casino in Summerlin.
NV Sports Home Screen
NV Sports Home Screen
The very first thing that we really enjoy about the app is that it doesn’t look like all the others. The interface is straightforward and efficient that every category of games coming with a corresponding logo. A very cool feature (the shockingly nobody else has done yet) is the”Enabled” feature which shows on the screen allowing the user to know whether the games can be wager.
Even though the South Point Sports Book is open 24 hours each day, the sport app has more restricted hours at the range of 9am to 11pm (although this varies daily and is subject to change). A good advantage to adding the NV Sports app to your arsenal is that they are in the upper-tier of sportsbooks concerning line offerings. In other words, they have better odds than most sportsbooks and is thus a place you can find the maximum value.

#4 — Caesar’s Sports
Caesar’s SportsThough Caesar’s was quite late in the game in getting their app to advertise, they introduced the product in December of 2017. The program was done by Miomni Gaming and as mentioned before, there really isn’t much to distinguish this program from others that were produced by them. The one advantage that does place Caesar’s apart from the Wynn is you do get Reward Credits and Tier Credits as you would if you put a bet in one of the Caesar’s property sportsbooks. The credits currently take approximately 48 hours to show up on your Total Rewards accounts, but Caesar’s is working in an upgrade to make this happen in real time. This program is still a work-in-progress, and also for now, we will slot Caesar’s here in the 4th spot.

#3 — Westgate
Westgate Superbook Program Westgate Baseball Menu
Westgate Baseball Menu
Frankly, narrowing the top three wasn’t a simple task as each of the subsequent three apps can make a situation to be #1. The Superbook in the Westgate currently sits on top of the listing for our Top 5 Las Vegas Sportsbooks and their program provides all of the very same chances that their brick-and-mortar business uses.
One of the biggest benefit of working with the Westgate Superbook program is that their breadth of options for gambling. Just considering baseball, an individual can see from the picture on the right the options for alternate run lines, home runs, the Cy Young award, etc.. As we write this review, we could not locate any other sportsbook apps that had these options to wager and this is only baseball! The Superbook also covers a vast array of”Autos”, Australian Rules Football, and college baseball playoffs to list a couple. Further, the Superbook generally has the lowest vig of all of the sportsbooks, so there is nowhere you can go for more value for your money. If all this weren’t sufficient, the Superbook now has the best rewards program going with each $3.30 bet earning a point in the Westgate Player’s Club. With each 100 points equaling a $1 at free things, some big stakes can make you a generous amount of freebies!
There are two drawbacks to using the Superbook program. One is they seem to be somewhat constrained in the number of occasions that one may live wager. Two, which is a small one, is that we didn’t get any incentive for enrolling.
All said and done, we certainly think this program needs to be added to your arsenal of sport betting apps!

#2 — STN Sports
STN Sports AppSTN Sports is a part of the Stations Casino brand which owns and runs are all number of casinos which are situated off the primary strip in Las Vegas. As a side note, if you haven’t been to a few of these casinos then we highly recommend checking these out. Across the board, these are most well-run casinos in Las Vegas and their machines have the most competitive odds in town. This app can also be made by Miomni Gaming and, as we mentioned previously, they do a very good job with their programs.
There are a variety of things that we love about this app. To begin with, once your first bet is made, you’re automatically given thirty dollars in free play to use within an Stations Casino. Second, this is one of only two sportsbook apps that currently ties into the rewards program (which could be located in SCLV). For every dollar wager on sports, the bettor has one stage and one credit in their player’s card. At the moment, 100 points equivalent a buck, and all this can be used free of charge play, dining or other amenities in the casinos. This benefit has been the deciding factor in placing STN Sports ahead of the Superbook app.
The one disadvantage for STN Sports is that their lack of live gambling on most occasions, but that is really the only real downside to the STN Sports app. In general, it ought to be obvious that we give this one quite substantial marks since it comes in at #2 on our list.

#1 — William Hill
William Hill Sports AppLast however, we return to our current preferred sports gaming program in William Hill. A sportsbook based out of the United Kingdom, William Hill started placing their footprints at the U.S. within the previous five years or so. They are a really reliable book and their brick-and-mortar business is well respected.
William Hill Betting Screen
William Hill Betting Screen
The sole downside to William Hill is the fact that it’s a third-party sportsbook that doesn’t connect to any casino’s rewards program. This is not a terribly huge drawback since STN Sports is currently the only program that rewards the bettor by using their player’s club.
We put the William Hill App at #1 for a couple of important factors. To begin, they will pay a free 10% promotion on any initial deposit up to $500. This includes a 1x rollover, so if $500 is deposited then one may see their $50 bonus as soon as they make their initial $500 in bets. Second, the betting interface is very well designed and easy to use. One can see in the case to the right what the gambling screen looks like for Major League Baseball. Third, William Hill places a close second to the Superbook in the number of sports betting choices that they have available. Last, and it’s the thing that really sets William Hill apart, is that their broad range of event selection for live betting. This is, undoubtedly, the most remarkable live gambling platform that we reviewed in their thickness, usability and options.
So, for the time being, William Hill is our top sports book app! We will review these apps every six weeks or so and provide updates and adjustments if there are any!
