Southampton boss Ralph Hassenhuttl wary of Tottenham’s quality

Tottenham are”more dangerous” following a poor run of results which has abandoned them like a injured boxer, states Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl.
Spurs have won four of their past 17 matches – after losing on penalties from League Two Colchester United and on Tuesday night they jumped in the third round.
Hasenhuttl takes on his Saints side-by-side London on Saturday -“it is a major struggle, but we like these challenges” – and the Austrian is wary of facing the anger of a frustrated Spurs team.
“As always, like a fighter, if he’s knocked a tiny bit he’s even more hazardous, so listen” , stated Hasenhuttl ahead of Saturday’s trip.
“We do not seem too much on them. I think that it’s important for us to concentrate on our possessions. We are aware that it’s a significant obstacle, but we enjoy these challenges.
“Our past far games were quite good – much better than our home games – so we’re not fearful about this particular match, we like to go there.
“It is on usand how we believe in our qualities and the way we know to compete against the large teams away from your home. If we don’t do this it’s difficult, in away games it must be ideal.
“It is never an edge against a huge team if they’re struggling because you must always be conscious of the quality they have. We expect the hardest opponent we can imagine.”
Spurs director Mauricio Pochettino achieved good success in his spell carrying them to an ending in the Premier League – the highest in the club history.
Hasenhuttl is a admirer of the predecessor Pochettino who he states shot Spurs”by an extremely fighting team to a Champions League finalist”.
“I believe he did a great job in Tottenham. I think it is incredible that he does there,” additional Hasenhuttl.
Last year Hasenhuttl was successful at his first meeting against Pochettino – though the Argentine was not present from the dugout owing to his rant at referee Mike Dean.
“Last yearhe was not allowed to sit on the bench, so maybe this is why we were able to take the 3 points,” he added.
“I don’t know how we won this game since they should’ve been up in the first half. So it was a good second half. We had a few subs in the half-time and we took more risks.
“If you would like to take points against such a team, you will need a nearly ideal operation, and even then you aren’t sure.”
